Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Pacific Border District (SPB), Phoenix, AZ 85012 intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price modification to BFBC, LLC, 701 Gold Avenue, Bozeman, Montana 59715, for the design and construction of approximately 0.46 miles of primary barrier with attributes in a location west of the Andrade, California Point of Entry (POE) and terminating at the western boundary of the Fort Yuma Indian Reservation on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(d)(1)(B), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 237310 -- Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction.� The size standard is $39,500,000. The magnitude of effort is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� No solicitation package is available and telephone inquiries will not be honored.� This is a notice of intent to award a sole source action; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government�s requirement received by no later than 22 December 2020 at 1:00PM Arizona Time will be considered.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Responses or questions pertaining to this notice should be submitted by email to Liz Thorstad, Contract Specialist, at elizabeth.a.thorstad@usace.army.mil and Maria Calica, Contracting Officer, at maria.a.calica@usace.army.mil.
