Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE � Anark Premier Maintenance and Support The MCIEast Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Anark Corporation (CAGE: 3C0A3) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� This procurement is to provide software license maintenance and support services for a period of one (1) year at the Fleet Readiness Center East (NAICS: 511210 per the performance work statement).� This software is used to monitor, review and correlate security event logs.� Market research has revealed this contractor does not have any U.S. authorized technicians to provide these support services.� Therefore, the Government intends to procure these services as a 100% Small Business Set Aside to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Anark Corporation, the OEM of the Anark Core Suite Software.��� �� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.�� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
