Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: California City: Bakersfield Delineated Area: N: Golden State Avenue; S: Truxton Ave/S Street/California Avenue/H Street/15th Street; E: V Street; W: F Street Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 40,043 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 42,045 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 57 on-site and secure 10 off- or on-site and secure Parking Spaces (Secure): 67 Full Term: 20 years Firm Term: 15 years Option Term: One 2 year Additional Requirements: Contiguous space required On-site sally port and secure parking spaces Tenant improvements to include detainee / criminal processing and holding rooms, ammunition and weapons storage rooms, secure evidence storage rooms, fitness rooms, locker/shower rooms, Back-up electricity generator 24/7 access and zoned HVAC system for 24/7 activities in various parts of the facility Not be adjacent or in close proximity to residential areas, educational facilities, religious facilities, or retail facilities Security clearances for Lessor personnel Vehicle access via a minimum of two entrance points Energy efficient and secure mechanical and electrical systems Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease.� A fully serviced lease is required.� Offered space shall be outside the 100 year flood plain. Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).� ). �For more information, visit: https://acquisition.gov/FAR-Case-2019-009/889_Part_B. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Bakersfield, CA, that will be expiring.� The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous.� In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
