Description
(Update 16 December 2020) An updated copy of questions received from interested vendors and Government responses has been added to the Attachments in place of the previous version. In response to the additional questions, the Government is also adding a document to the Attachments that provides the Government Materials Estimate for the Time and Materials portion of the resulting contract.� Solicitation Amendment 0002 is also added so that offerors can acknowledge the update to Pricing Exhibit B on 15 December and the addition of the Government Materials estimate on 16 December.��Please be sure to acknowledge all solicitation amendments when submitting your quotes. (Update 15 December 2020) A current copy of questions received from interested vendors and Government responses has been added to the Attachments.� In response to one of the questions received, Pricing Exhibit B (TM CLIN) has been updated to correct a minor error.� The updated version of the Pricing Exhibit B has been uploaded to the Attachments to replace�the previous version.� Please refer to the Question and Answer document for details. A solicitation amendment will be issued to document the change in the Pricing Exhibit B.� Please be sure to acknowledge all solicitation amendments when submitting your quotes. (Amendment 0001) On 14 December 2020, this solicitation is amended to update Pricing Exhibit A (FFP CLIN) to correct an error in one of the formulas built in to the spreadsheet.�This corrected Pricing Exhibit A (FFP CLIN) is otherwise identical to the one originally issued w ith the solicitation. No changes have been made to the quantities or equipment or types of equipment. The solicitation attachments have been updated w ith the corrected Pricing Exhibit A. (Original Description Below) The 409th Contracting Support Brigade Theater Contracting Center intends to issue a solicitation for a five-year ID/IQ (Indefnite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Time & Materials (T&M) Hybrid contract.� The resulting contract will be a non-personal services contract�for the Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Repair of food service equipment (FSE) at U.S. Army Garrison locations throughout Germany in support of requirements for�LRCs (Logistics Readiness Centers), IMCOM-E (Installation Management Command - Europe), MWR (Moral, Welfar, and Recration) and the Marshall Center.� The purpose of this requirement is to provide preventive maintenance�in accordance with respective exhibit, German Law Inspection (GLI), on-call repairs, either emergency or regular, install and/or remove, inventory and labeling, to include the provision of repair parts to repair/maintain Food Service Equipment. The Contractor shall support Army units with the Maintenance and Repair of Food Service Equipment to include built-in FSE on Food Trucks. The Contractor shall oversee all work and assume responsibility for planning, programming, administering, managing, and executing all functions necessary to provide the services specified in this PWS. The Contractor shall conduct work in accordance with this PWS and all applicable United States (U.S.), German, and local laws, regulations, standards, provisions, and directives to include applicable publications. The Contractor shall ensure that all work meets the level of service, performance standards, or tolerances specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) or in applicable referenced documents. Some services under this Contract may be performed at designated facilities, or portions of installations, by in-house Government personnel or by other Contractors. The Food Trucks will be located at various locations within a Garrison. The Contractor shall perform all related administrative actions required to provide services or perform work such as material requisitioning, quality control (QC), financial control, meetings, and correspondence. The Contractor shall provide all necessary management, supervision, personnel, tools, parts, materials, service vehicles, general and specialized test/analysis equipment, electronic communication, and reporting necessary to perform preventive maintenance and on-call repairs. The Contractor shall also maintain accurate and complete records, files, and libraries of documents to include all U.S., German, and local regulations, standards, provisions, codes, laws, technical manuals, and manufacturers� instructions and recommendations that are necessary and related to the functions being performed. The Contractor shall compile historical data, prepare required reports in the English language and submit information as specified by the Deliverable List.
