- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to large business Johnson Controls Fire Protection LB for removal of faulty duct smoke detectors and replacement with new XAD Air Aspirating Addressable at Veterans Health Administration Connecticut Healthcare System Newington Campus. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures as authorized by FAR 13-501(a). This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement for possible consideration in future procurements by the Government to Joshua.Gallien@va.gov no later than 11:00 AM EST 18-Dec-2020.
