- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR SERVICES PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6 AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THE SOLICITATION NUMBER IS 2121301C30059. THIS COMBINED SYNOPSIS CONSTITUTES A SOLICITATION AND INCORPORATES PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES IN EFFECT THROUGH FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR 2007. THIS ACQUISITION IS SET ASIDE SMALL BUSINESS. THE NAICS IS 238330. THE SMALL BUSINESS SIZED STANDARD IS 500.� THE CONTRACT TYPE WILL BE A FIRM FIXED PRICE PURCHASE ORDER. CARPET REPLACEMENT AS PER SOW PLEASE E-MAIL QUOTES TO SK2 SONYA CALIHAN EMAIL: SONYA.J.CALIHAN@USCG.MIL The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this synopsis/solicitation to the responsible contractor whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be more advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. VENDORS DOING BUSINESS WITH THE COAST GUARD MUST BE REGISTERED OR BE WILLING TO REGISTER WITH SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT AT WWW.SAM.GOV. FAR CLAUSES 52.237-1 SITE VISIT AND 52.237-2 PROTECTION OF GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS, EQUIPMENT, AND VEGETATION ARE APPLICABLE. QUESTION FROM VENDOR: Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number ANSWER: It has been many years since the last carpet installation at the station, so I would have no way of tracking info on previous carpet service here. QUESTION FROM VENDOR: I have a few questions in regards to the SOW provided�for this RFQ. Are you able to provide a floor plan or dimensional plan for this scope of work? Also, are there any further details on product specifications/color requested for this replacement?� ANSWER: The color we are trying to match is in the attached picture. The color we want is the top left one (�MESSAGEBOARD�). While we don�t have any floor plans to send, we know that we need about 274.33 square yards of carpeting. All bidders/contractors are welcome to do a site visit to gather more info or create an estimate. We just ask that they call in advance and ask for BM1 Morgan to meet up with them.
