- Description
- The proposed contract action is for Tribal Consultation support for the�EPA Region 9 Navajo Assessment Program, which the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), San Francisco District intends to solicit with Weston Solutions, Inc�under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(c). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, all information received after date of publication of this synopsis may be considered by the Government. Interested suppliers shall respond to this notice by providing the following information: 1. Organization Name. 2. Address. 3. Point of Contact for information with telephone number and email address. 4. Cage Code, and 5. Capabilities information/statement showing that the organization has the ability and jurisdiction to fulfill the Government requirement. The contractor must be able to comply with all requirements described herein to be considered capable. Purchase Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform support tasks including project management, data management and review, and review and analysis of of technical reports on site conditions, and except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. Work includes the following:�Assist with communication/facilitation with Army Corps, Navajo agencies (NNDFW, NLD, NHPD, etc.), utility providers, contractors, etc; Field oversight of Army Corps projects;�Prepare environmental or engineering assessments;�Produce maps, reports, and other communication tools;�Biological, cultural, and land surveys;�Scanning surveys. All work to be completed in coordination with Navajo Nation, USEPS, USACE, and other agencies mentioned in this description. Period of Performance: 30�months. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests for a copy of the solicitation will not be honored. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. All responses received will be considered. If no affirmative written response is received, the service�contract will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed�contract is based on the authorities necessary to provide the requirements described herein. Award of this contract will be based upon the possible responses to this notice, and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
