THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.� NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS.� NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED REQUESTING AN RFQ PACKAGE OR SOLICITATION.� THERE IS NO RFQ PACKAGE OR SOLICITATION.� IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PROCUREMENT INTEGRITY OF ANY FUTURE PROCUREMENT, IF ANY, THAT MAY ARISE FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT, INFORMATION REGARDING THE TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT WILL NOT BE GIVEN AND NO APPOINTMENTS FOR PRESENTATIONS WILL BE MADE. � �The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service � Parlier, CA has issued this sources sought announcement in order to determine if there are existing businesses sources capable of providing an Annual Service Contract for Life Technologies 3500 XL Genetic Analyzer Serial Number 30374-021.� Companies who have the capabilities and experience necessary should submit a Capabilities Statement demonstrating the company's expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified in this notice. Responses shall include the following information: a. DUNS number b. Company Name c. Company Address d. Type of Company (i.e., large business, etc.) e. Company Point of �Contact, Phone and Email Address Teaming Arrangements:� All teaming arrangements should also include the above-cited information and certifications for each entity on the proposed team. Responses must be submitted no later than 4:00pm EST on December 17, 2020 via email to Derek Celedon at Derek.Celedon@usda.gov. � Background:� The USDA/ARS Parlier, Ca has a need for an Annual Service Contract (With Option years) Life Technologies 3500 XL Genetic Analyzer Serial Number 30374-021.� �Minimum Performance Requirements: Must be Life Technologies �certified and trained to perform service and preventive maintenance. - Parts, labor and travel for remedial repair. �- No charge for planned maintenance visits. The number of planned maintenance visits is indicated in LT's quotation (A).The annual planned maintenance (PM) visit is automatically opened and will be performed within the contract period. �- Guaranteed priority response time of 2 business days after receipt of a service call for instruments. - Target response time of 3 business days for remedial repairs outside of Zones 1 and - Priority telephone and email access to instrument technical support. - Telephone and email access to application technical support. - Remote Monitoring and Dx Service, which provides for notification to customer of instrument failures or errors that are reported by AB's Remote Monitoring software. � �Anticipated Period of Performance: Base Year:� 12/18/2020 � 12/17/2021 Option Year 1:� 12/18/2021 � 12/17/2022 Option Year 2:� 12/18/2022 � 12/17/2023 Option Year 3:�� 12/18/2023 � 12/17/2024
