- Marine Hydraulics International, LLC (MHI), Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $57,134,922, firm fixed price contract for the execution of the USS OAK HILL (LSD-51) fiscal year 2021 Selected Restricted Availability (SRA). This availability will include a combination of maintenance, modernization and repair of the USS OAK HILL. This is a �long-term� availability and was solicited on a sole source basis. MHI will provide the facilities and human resources capable of completing, coordinating and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance, repair and modernization for the USS OAK HILL. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $71,850,462. Work will be performed in Norfolk, VA, and is expected to be completed by July 2022. Fiscal Year 2021 Operations and Maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $51,832,242 will be obligated at time of award and expires at the end of the current fiscal year.� Fiscal Year 2020 Other Procurement Navy (OPN) funding in the amount of $5,302,680 will be obligated at time of award and expires at the end of fiscal year 2022.� This contract was awarded under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(3)(A), as implemented by FAR 6.302-3, �to maintain a facility, producer, manufacturer, or other supplier available for furnishing property or services in case of national emergency or to achieve industrial mobilization.� The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity (N00024-21-C-4408).
