- Subject to final approval, Fiscal Services Procurement on behalf of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) intends to make award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to Anton Parr USA, Incorporated for the Maintenance and calibration service contract for Anton Paar densitometers. � Anton Paar is the manufacturer of all the instruments being covered and is also the sole supplier of the software and hardware components. Anton Paar has no other authorized suppliers to provide service for instrumentation manufactured by Anton Paar. Anton Paar is the manufacturer of the instrumentation and they are the only authorized service provider in North America, Hawaii & Alaska. There are detailed procedures which must be followed--combined with specialized tools--during the course of a preventive maintenance service activity and/or in the event a repair becomes necessary so as to ensure the proper operation of the instruments. These services are specifically required for this acquisition; thereby the proposed source has the sole unique technical and other resources required for this acquisition. Fiscal Service will consider affirmative responses received no later than December 13, 2020 at 11:59��PM ET.� Offerors shall respond to this notice if they believe they can provide TTB these services. Responses shall include the name and point of contact information for its company along with a description of the product.�� No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Responses shall be submitted to Purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov - Attention: �JS/MH� SS-TTB-21-0023. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. �Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the Beta.Sam site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions.
