Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source The Region Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.201(a)(1)(ii), on or about 31 December 2020, for a Carefusion Guardrails Suite MX and the Alaris Systems Software update for Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219, and the size standard is $22M. A sole source award will be made to Becton Dickinson and Co., 7 Loveton Cir, Sparks, MD, 21152. Becton Dickinson and Co. is the manufacture of the equipment and software and is the only company that can provide the required OEM upgrades and support. The Carefusion Guardrails Suite MX and the Alaris Systems Software is an update to older system software. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
