This is a request for information (RFI). DLA Troop Support's Continental United States Subsistence Prime Vendor (CONUS SPV) Program Office is interested in your comments regarding food support for our military and federally funded customers in the Louisiana and Mississippi area. Anticipated delivery points are identified as follows: 1. Fort Polk, LA 2.�Camp Shelby, MS 3. Camp McCain, Grenada, MS 4. Marine Forces Reserve G-4, New Orleans, LA 5. USCG Station, Metairie, LA 6. USCG Pamlico WLIC-800, New Orleans, LA 7. BSU New Orleans, New Orleans, LA 8. USCG Station Gulfport, LA 9. USCGC Decisive, Pascagoula, MS 10. USCGC Stratton, Pascagoula, MS 11. Roy M. Wheat Galley NAS Meridian, MS 12. NMCB ONE, Gulfport, MS 13. NAS New Orleans JRB, Belle Chase, LA 14. Mississippi ANG, Jackson, MS 15. 186th ARW Key Field, Meridian, MS 16. Mississippi ANG, Gulfport, MS 17. Keesler AFB, Keesler, MS 18. Keesler AFB Nutritional Flight Medicine, Biloxi, MS 19. Red River/Barksdale AFB, LA 20. USCGC James, Pascagoula, MS This is not a solicitation for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government and any information provided in response to this RFI will be used for informational purposes only. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise for future business with the Government. The sole purpose of this RFI is to conduct Market Research. CONUS SPV contractors provide food products such as canned items, dry items, chill items, ultra-high temperature (UHT) dairy items, frozen bakery products, frozen meats, frozen seafood and poultry, ice cream, eggs and other dairy products under the contracts. Support includes, but is not limited to: sourcing food items; receiving and consolidating product; warehousing and inventory management; quality control, quality assurance, and inspections; transportation and security of product; personnel management; meeting required delivery dates and fill rates; and extensive reporting requirements. Information on the current DLA Troop Support CONUS SPV contract for the Louisiana and Mississippi area can be found at: http://www.dla.mil/TroopSupport/Subsistence/Foodservices/Regions/CONUS/PVSouth.aspx. Please respond to the following: 1. Provide a brief description of your company (name, address, type of business; business size, CAGE Code if applicable). 2. Can you support all of the customers listed above? Many of the customers expect delivery 48 hours after placing their orders. Are there any location limitations in meeting this delivery schedule? 3. If or when a solicitation is issued for the Louisiana and Mississippi area, does your firm intend to participate in the bidding process? 4. Do you have preferred delivery set-ups (routes, grouping of customers) to provide complete food support throughout the state? 5. Some of our customers are remotely located and require small pack-size items. Can this requirement be provided? 6. Can you provide service to our customers, regardless of weather conditions? What method of shipping would be used? 7. Would there be customers who could not be supported if an emergency order is needed (either same day or� next day)?
