Description

To whom it may concern, The United States Government, through the Regional Contracting Office, Italy (Vicenza Office), intends to procure a contract for the subject as follows. The intent of this letter is to advertise the upcoming requirement for as many potentially interested companies. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES NEEDED: This is a requirement for armed security guard services to prevent unauthorized access to the installation, designated facilities, activities, or assets and to prevent criminal activity (i.e., damage, sabotage, espionage, and theft, etc.) against US government property and personnel, within the USAG Italy military installations. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The performance of the service sites are located in Vicenza (Longare, Lerino, Torri, Villaggio, Del Din) and Livorno (Camp Darby and Leghorn Army Depot U.S. Livorno). METHOD �OF �CONTRACTING �AND �AWARD: The method �of award� will �be clearly �indicated in the Request for Proposal TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price DURATION OF CONTRACT: The contract term is a base year and four option-years. The option years are not guaranteed. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: Information about time and date will be provided in the Request for Proposal. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Contractors that are interested in participating to this acquisition shall send an e-mail not later than 15 December 2020, 17:00 hrs to the following addresses:� Francesca.candia.ln@mail.mil and lindsay.r.jaime.civ@mail.mil SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: Certificato Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self-certifications are NOT allowed. The business purpose (oggetto sociale) should include but is not limited to: Private security services (�Esercizio di servizi di sicurezza privata�). PREFECTURE LICENSE: The offeror shall submit a copy of their Prefecturer License to provide guard services (licenza prefettizia) from the province of which services are provided and in accordance with the Italian T.U.L.P.S. 134. I n the case of a Joint venture, a copy of the license of each company in the joint venture shall be submitted. SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable on https://eportal.nspa.nato.int/AC135Public/scage/CageList.aspx). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. NOTE: In the case of a Joint venture, a copy of the license and of the Certificate of Chamber of Commerce of each company and a letter of intent of the joint venture shall be submitted. If the decision is made to issue a Solicitation for this requirement, additional information regarding the Performance of Work will accompany the solicitation. The capability statement package must be sent by email to both Ms. Francesca Candia, Francesca.candia.ln@mail.mil, and Ms. Lindsay Jaime, lindsay.r.jaime.civ@mail.mil This announcement should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
