Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform potential offerors that the Network Contracting Office, VISN 2 will be posting a solicitation (36C24221B0008) on or about December 11, 2021 to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace existing domestic water piping, abate piping that has asbestos containing material and remove dead legs at the Batavia, NY VA Medical Center. Market research has shown that there are enough qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms that are capable of performing under NAICS Code 236220, ""Commercial and Institutional Building Construction"", with a size standard of $39.5M to procure this as a 100% set-aside as such. The estimated construction value of this is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Bid bonding will be required to respond to this IFB once released. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIAL Solicitation materials consisting of the information for bid details, specifications, drawings and contract forms will be available on http://www.beta.sam.gov in electronic format only. These should be available on or about December 15, 2020. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.beta.sam.gov. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation by the time of bid opening. Once the solicitation is released, bids will be accepted electronically only, due to ongoing safety concerns regarding the COVID -19 pandemic.
