DEBAKEY VA MEDICAL CENTER (VAMC), HOUSTON, TEXAS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 36C25621Q0199 Karl Storz Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Equipment Lease � � BACKGROUND: The New Orleans� VAMC has a requirement for the following brand name supplies: ����� ������� Objectives: Provide the equipment, labor, materials, warranty, user training, accessories, scopes (rigid and flexible), and supplies necessary to provide a Complete Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgical Solution that support seven surgical operating rooms. � Scope: LAPAROSCOPIC AND ENDOSCOPIC SURGICAL EQUIPMETN Endoscopy-America, Inc. shall provide a comprehensive turnkey solution that enables The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System to provide Laparoscopic and Endoscopic surgical solutions to patients in Otolaryngology, General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Gynecology, and Genitourinary Surgery. Period of performance: The period of performance reads as follows: � ����������� Lease and Service Agreement: December 10, 2020 � December 9, 2021����������������������� ����������� � REQUIREMENTS: The proposed surgical system will provide four complete video mobile units and equip seven surgical operating rooms that will provide the surgical team the ability to perform the complete range of Laparoscopic/Endoscopic surgical procedures in a safe and effective manner while increasing productivity and daily efficiency.� Additionally, the system has the capability to utilize imaging technologies such as blue light cystoscopy as well as clara/chroma imaging enhancements.� The systems are able to communicate with VISTA Imaging and Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) to allow for the transfer of data into the patient's Electronic Medical Records.� These systems will service/perform the following surgical procedures (see Exhibits 2-4 for product narrative, technical capabilities, and a full list of quoted products,): One complete system that specializes in Otolaryngology Surgery � Sino-nasal Endoscopy: Endoscopic sinus surgery Endoscopic septoplasty Endoscopic turnkey solution that enables The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System to provide Laparoscopic and Endoscopic surgical solutions to patients in Otolaryngology, General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Genitourinary Surgery.� LAPAROSCOPIC AND ENDOSCOPIC SURGICAL EQUIPMETN will provide, transport, install, and test the entirety of the solution prior to utilization.� All equipment and installation will meet manufacturers and VA specifications.� The comprehensive turnkey solution will mount seven complete systems to the existing Skytron booms located in each of the ORs for the following specialties per room: One complete system the specializes in Otolaryngology Surgery Five complete systems that specialize in General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics One complete system the specializes in Genitourinary Surgery Four mobile units video systems � LAPAROSCOPIC AND ENDOSCOPIC SURGICAL EQUIPMETN�s complete Laparoscopic and Endoscopic surgical system includes the most recent technology and high-quality surgical imaging systems that support seven surgical operating rooms to be mounted onto the existing Skytron Anesthesia/monitor operating room (OR) booms.� The proposed surgical system integrates into existing infrastructures, exchanges data with other systems using common standard interfaces, and has the ability to function with the current power (electrical) supply. � REQUESTED RESPONSES: The intent of this Request for Information is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g set-aside, sole source, unrestricted) for a solicitation that VA intends to post in the near future.� Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following: Please respond
