- This is a notice of contract action (NOCA). This is not a solicitation for quotes. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this NOCA or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this NOCA is to notify industry of the VA s intent of contract action and possibly gain knowledge of other potentially-qualified sources and their size classifications. Notice of contract action: Miami VA Contracting intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract under FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products for sources used to calibrate Nuclear Medicine and PET CT scanners prior to daily use. Items include Featherlite Rectangular Flood Sources featuring ProKem Technology (two types), PET-CT VQC Phantom, and PET Annulus DQA imaging phantom. The estimated value of the acquisition is $15,508.38. Vendors who believe they can meet the requirements should submit a capability statement, providing clear and convincing evidence supporting the assertion and should address the following: Information available to the CO indicates that products offered by Eckert & Ziegler are the only FDA-cleared products available. In addition, products are listed in the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines. All information shall be in writing, sent via email, and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 EST, November 23, 2020.
