Special Notice   THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following: Centervue Eidon FA made by ICARE Brand Name or Equal per FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal to ICARE CLIN QTY Part Number Description 0001 1 AIFLAME001 Icare Centervue Eidon 0002 1 LFLADCM001 ICARE CENTERVUE EIDON FA DICOM LICENSE Salient Characteristics and SOW for NXREP-112-20-EYE7 Centervue Eidon The Centervue Eidon is a fully automated retinal imaging system which is a non-contact, high-resolution imaging device of the peripheral, central retina and optic nerve Salient Characteristics Must provide non-contact, high-resolution, imaging devices of the peripheral, central retina and optic nerve Must be a confocal scanning ophthalmoscope Must image through small pupil size as small as 2.5mm and media opacities Must have at least an optical resolution of 15 um images Must use advanced confocal technology to reduce backscatter and reflected light effects Must be able to obtain Color images, red free images, IR Reflectance, Autofluorescence and Fluorescein angiography images. Must provide Fluorescein angiography with high resolution photos and videos Must use white light LED source to provide true color capabilities Must be able to obtain Images that are at least 60 degree wide views and ability to montage images automatically to produce a 110 degree mosaic Must have stereoscopic Fluorescein angiography Must have ability to align two images that allows for detection of minor changes between visits. Must have autofocus and auto pupil alignment Must have DICOM connectivity to connect through Zeiss Forum DISCLAIMER This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements written notification to the Contracting Officer. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Only authorized representatives of the manufacturer will be considered. Equipment must be new, no used or refurbished equipment accepted.
