Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and market research planning purposes only.� It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not a commitment by the Government.� All firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy.� This is strictly market research.� The Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St Paul District (USACE) is planning the Red River Structure (RRS) of the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project.� The RRS�s main function is to control the amount of flow entering the benefitted area where the Red River passes through the dam.� The RRS will include a gated structure, dam walls, vehicle service bridge, mechanical platform bridge, stilling basin, dentated end sill, downstream retaining walls, approach apron, slope protection slab and approach walls.� The structure includes three 50-foot wide Tainter gates, two 12-foot wide concrete piers between them, and abutments on the east and west side of the structure.� The RRS also includes a control building, access roads, approximately 3,000 feet of engineered channel, and approximately 2,000 feet of borrow ditch channel. Interested firms with experience in this type of construction project work, and a bonding capacity of at least $150M, within NAICS Code 237990 � Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction are encouraged to send capabilities and experience statements electronically to: Toni Wasgatt USACE St Paul District Contracting Division toni.w.wasgatt@usace.army.mil Responses will be accepted until 5:00pm Central on Tuesday, 08 December 2020.
