- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.� NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE GOVERNMENT WILL USE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to collect information of qualified contractors as part of a market research conducted by NAVFAC Far East FEAD Okinawa for Facilities Support Contract for Integrated Solid Waste Collection, Disposal and Recycling Service for Commander Fleet Activities Okinawa (CFAO), Japan. The requirements consist of collecting, segregating, transporting, recycling, and disposing of integrated solid waste to include industrial and construction waste and recyclable. The Government invites contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit Capability Statements consisting of appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. �The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a proposal, but rather short statements regarding the company�s ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified herein. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111 � Solid Waste Collection.� � Performance Period: Base Period and�seven (7) Option Periods of 12 months each. � Work Requirements: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the service to perform refuse collection, disposal and recycling at Kadena Air Base (CFAO only), Camp Shields, White Beach, Tengan Pier, Awase Transmitter Site, Naha Military Port, and Camp Lester under a performance-based contract that is comprised of both Recurring Work and Non-Recurring Work Items. Instructions for Interested Parties: Entities responding to this Sources Sought Notice should submit the minimum information necessary for the Government to make a determination that adequate business entities exist that are capable of satisfying the Government�s requirements. All interested sources, at a minimum, please address the following: COMPANY PROFILE to include: (1) Company name and address; (2) Company point of contact (including title, telephone and fax numbers and email address); and (3) If your company is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website, please indicate your DUNS Number and CAGE code. � RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Indicate your experience in providing services for the requirement stated above. � SUBCONTRACTORS: If known, provide subcontractor partnerships (Optional). � LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Indicate any applicable local/and or industry certification your company or employee possess relevant to this procurement. Interested firms may submit information using the form provided under separate file titled �Sources Sought � Contractor Information Form� to demonstrate capabilities, capacity, and experience. Notifications of interest must be submitted in writing via email; phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties should respond by 10:00 AM (Japan Standard Time) on 3 December 2020, via email to Rumiko.Shimooka@fe.navy.mil and minako.sakumoto.ja@fe.navy.mil.� The subject line of the email shall read: �Response to Sources Sought for ISW Service for CFAO�. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a Request For Proposal (RFP) package or solicitation.
