S. Government supplier database entitled System For Award Management (SAM) with their Dun & Bradstreet number (Duns#). Registration can be performed on line at www.sam.gov. If not already registered, please register as soon as possible since failure to do so may preclude BSA from doing business with your organization. �Please note that there is no charge for SAM registration. When registering, you are strongly urged to copy and paste www.sam.gov onto your browser address rather than utilizing your search engine. Utilizing your search engine may redirect you to an erroneous site. You may obtain assistance in completing your registration by contacting the Federal Help Desk� at 866-606-8220. Equivalent Guidelines: The parts or model numbers are listed for reference purposes only. Any alternate products being offered shall have equivalent, or greater, performance parameters to those specified (please read specifications below). Suppliers that are offering alternate products shall list the manufacturer, model, and part numbers for the product. When quoting an alternate product, please provide sufficient documentation to permit thorough evaluation of the equivalency of your offer to the product specified.� BSA reserves the right to determine equivalency. The following requirements to the instrument performance must be met if alternative supplier is considered (bidding): ����������� 10 fg or less IDL (Injection Detection Limit) for Inert Extractor EI source, Turbo Pump ����������� Mass & Spectral Accuracy � 1 �L injection of 100 pg/�L OFN, scanning from 50 to 300 u, will give its monoisotope at m/z 272.987 � 0.005 ����������� Extractor 1 pg OFN gives > 1500:1 S/N ����������� The Mass Spectrometer must have a Gain Normalized Autotune which optimizes the EM�s gain to ensures the optimal balance between ion count, linearity and EM life expectancy. ����������� Mass Spectrometer shall have electronic scan rate of 20,000 u/sec ����������� The mass spectrometer must use an ion source where the metallic parts are constructed from inert material. Ion Source temp controllable from 100 � 350 degrees C. ����������� Mass Spectrometer must utilize a Quadrupole Mass Filter consisting of a monolithic quartz structure. A quadrupole consisting of 4 separate rods is NOT acceptable. The Quadrupole is to be is independently heated and its temperature is to be user-selectable from 100 � 200�C. ����������� The instrument must scan from 1.6 to 1050 u ����������� The mass spectrometer shall have the capability to create 100 SIM ion groups with up to 60 ions per group with SIM speed down to 0.1 msec. ����������� The mass spectrometer data system must have an integrated retention time-locking module for analyzing target compounds in complex matrices. ����������� When Vent Cycle is started, GC recognizes and optimizes the column flow to cool down the MSD faster. ����������� The Gas Chromatograph must have ambient temperature and pressure compensation feedback for electronic pneumatic control for all inlets and detectors. ����������� The Gas Chromatograph must have a hydrogen safety shutdown system that monitors the hydrogen flow and shuts down the gas flows and heaters if a leak is detected. ����������� The Gas Chromatograph should have oven explosion protection built into the oven door.� The Mass Spectrometer analyzer should not fragmentize in the event of a hydrogen deflagration. ���������Basis of Award: BSA will make award to the responsive and responsible offeror who submits the lowest total price and who meets all of BSA�s technical requirements, as stated herein. �������� Pricing: shall remain valid for 60 days Any resulting purchase order will be subject to the attached terms and conditions.
