Description

The purpose of this follow-on acquisition is to provide fire protection, emergency management and emergency medical services for Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) on a 24-hour per day, 7-day (24/7) per week basis.� The mission of the 45th Space Wing requires that the contractor provide continuous fire protection, emergency management and emergency medical services.� The contractor shall have the provisions to ensure continuous services are provided in the event of a work stoppage or labor strike that may potentially degrade these functions.� The contractor shall perform all firefighting duties and tasks in accordance with but not limited to the following: Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 6055.06, Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-2001, Air Force (AF) Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for Fire Prevention and Consequence Management, and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.� The contractor shall comply with the Fire Emergency Services Self-Assessment Program (FESAP).
