- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst has a new requirement to provide timely, highly technical, targeted and exploratory research, experimentation and data collection support, custom model development and data analysis to augment ongoing and emerging Non-Acoustic Anti-Submarine Warfare efforts. The majority of efforts investigated are related to Intelligence Engineering and Algorithm Development. The specific technical areas of research and development to be pursued under this contract are: Multi-Spectral Electromagnetics, and/or Information Fusion Elementary Particle Physics Electro-Magnetic Propagation in Atmosphere Sensor Applications in Ocean, Littoral and Undersea (e.g., Radar, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)/Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR),�� Electro Optical (EO), Microwave, Radiological, etc.) Remote Sensing Technologies and Applications (e.g., Radar, SAR, ISAR, EO, Microwave, Radiological, etc.) Physics Based Modeling and Analysis Hydrodynamics from submerged moving objects within the ocean Hydrodynamics related to meso-scale and other environmental phenomena Ocean Surface and atmospheric Electromagnetic scattering General Ocean Biology, Chemistry and Phenomenology Ocean Climatology and Atmospheric Science� The Government intends to issue a 100% small business set-aside competitive solicitation for this requirement. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee �C� type contract.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
