Description
This a Pre-Solicitation Notice Only W912DR21Q0002 Integrated Pest Management and Rodent Control Services Washington Aqueduct Division Description of the Work:� The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, material, equipment, and supplies to perform Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Rodent Control (RC) services for the.� 13 main buildings at three locations in Washington, DC, are detailed at the end of these specifications.� Service visits to all locations shall be every two weeks, or twice a month.� This specification is part of a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program for the premises listed herein.� IPM is a process for achieving long-term, environmentally sound pest suppression and prevention using a wide variety of technological and management practices. �Control strategies in an IPM program include:� structural and procedural modifications to reduce food, water, harborage, and access used by pests, pesticide compounds, formulations, and application methods that present the lowest potential hazard to humans and the environment, non-pesticide technologies such as trapping and monitoring devices and coordination among all facilities management programs that have a bearing on the pest control effort. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the monitoring, trapping, pesticide application, and pest removal components of the IPM program.� The Contractor shall also provide detailed, site-specific recommendations for structural and procedural modifications to aid in pest prevention. Period of Performance: Base year plus four option years Location of the work:� The Washington Aqueduct Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is located at 5900 MacArthur Blvd, NW, Washington, DC 20016.� Pest control services will be conducted at the following locations:� Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant ,5900 MacArthur Blvd NW, Washington, DC 20016, Champlain St NW (Adams Morgan), Washington, DC 20009 and McMillan Water Treatment Plant, 2500 First St NW, Washington, DC 20001. Solicitation Information:� The estimated time the solicitation will be posted to beta.sam.gov is TBD.� �Once posted, the solicitation will out on beta.sam.gov for two weeks.
