Description

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) intends to procure Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) Life Cycle Contract Support (LCCS), Cockpit Management System (CMS), Avionics Management System (AMS) and other avionics related components and associated peripheral equipment. These services and components will be awarded on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis. The proposed source is Collins Aerospace, 400 Collins Rd, Cedar Rapids, IA. The associated NAICS code is 336413. � The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capabilities statements or proposals received within the closing date set in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All interested, capable, and responsible sources that would like to respond to this pre-solicitation synopsis are encouraged to provide a statement of interest along with supporting documentation to Michael Wastella via email at michael.j.wastella.civ@mail.mil.mil no later than 12:00 pm Eastern Time on 17 Nov 2020.
