Transportation Support Services (TSS) Sources Sought Notice � FBO November 9 2020 PSC: V129 Transportation/ Travel/ Relocation- Transportation: Other NAICS: 561210- Facilities Support Services The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, Havelock, NC, is soliciting information from industry to determine potential contractors who have the skills, experience, qualifications, technical data resources, and knowledge required to support industrial facility that reworks, repairs, and overhauls aircraft, engines, and components for both United States and foreign military customers.� Its mission is �Generating Combat Air Power for America�s Marines and Naval Forces�. The technical support would consist of detachments, tenants, and customers located at the FRC East, MCAS Cherry Point, adjacent and outlying areas. This requirement is to extend services to Global TransPark (GTP) Kinston site in Havelock, NC. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, management, and any other resources necessary to fulfill the requirements, except those specified as Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Government Furnished Services.� This requirement shall include limited single daily requests per service support during normal first shift hours Monday through Friday. Services shall be provided to and from MCAS Cherry Point, NC to GTP leased facilities. This requirement is restricted to the following services: Delivery/Tractor Trailer Services, 10/10 Preservation Oil Services, and Special Transportation Services. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), BUT RATHER A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ISSUED AS A MARKET RESEARCH REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. The Government is looking to identify interested and capable sources only. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or enter into a contractual agreement. The Government is not obligated to pay for information submitted in response to this request. Capable contractors are requested to provide a capabilities statement of no more than 1 page in length that demonstrates the respondent�s ability and qualification necessary to meet the Transportation Support Services requirements.� In addition, please provide your company's business size and CAGE code. All properly marked proprietary data received in response to this notice will be protected from release outside of the Government. � All capability statements shall be submitted no later than 1400 EST on 24 November 2020. Responses shall be submitted electronically to the designated Contract Specialist, Tara Collins, in Microsoft Word format or Portable Document Format (PDF) at the following email address: tara.f.collins@navy.mil . Failure to respond to this request does not preclude participation in any potential future competitive solicitation that may be issued. If a solicitation is prepared, it will be synopsized on https://beta.sam.gov/ prior to issuance, pursuant to FAR 5.204. It is the potential offeror�s responsibility to monitor this site for future notices.
