Description
NASA/JSC has a requirement for continued engineering services to support Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C), system engineering, and rendezvous and proximity operations initiatives for the International Space Station (ISS) Program and the Orion Program at Johnson Space Center (JSC). The effort includes, but is not limited to, support of: research, analysis, design, development, integration, verification, test, evaluation, and operations support. NASA/JSC intends to issue a sole source contract to Odyssey Space Research, LLC in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NASA/JSC intends to acquire the additional services by increasing the Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Maximum Not-To-Exceed amount for the Rendezvous, Proximity Operations, and Capture (RPOC IV) contract (80JSC017D0001)�in the amount of�$15M. �The new IDIQ maximum ceiling amount will be estimated at $35M. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Jerry G. Meeks Jr., Contract Specialist, jerry.g.meeks@nasa.gov and Chrystal D. Wiseman, Contracting Officer, chrystal.d.wiseman@nasa.gov �not later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on November�23, 2020. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
