Description

PLACE OF PEFORMANCE PORTSMOUTH, VA The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, National Security Cutters Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding this procurement to American VULKAN Corporation. Sole source vendor contract needed to procure replacement VULKAN coupling parts for USCGC KENNEBEC CASREP 20012 repairs. Parts needed are: VP 10010 size housing (PN: 39100000M), VP 1010 SAE 21"" flange (P/N: 391006000M) and VP10020 rubber element (PN: 2910B10000). American VULKAN Corporation is the only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, i.e. Unique capabilities, Limited number of sources, Proprietary data or Brand Name Mandatory. VULKAN is the only known source that will certify and work with the system, no other manufacture parts are guaranteed to work or operate safely. American VULKAN Corporation is the only vendor with manufacturer/OEM parts and has proprietary rights. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC KENNEBEC. �Vendor will provide the part/supply stated in the solicitation description. �NAICS Code # 811310 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 Pacific Time, NOV 09, 2020 will be reviewed by the Government. ��A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. �Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: Barbara.Falero@uscg.mil The solicitation is restricted to: American VULKAN Corporation Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to American VULKAN Corporation.
