- This is a sources sought announcement in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition, and to identify potential sources that can provide the following item: NOMENCLATURE: Tie Down Rotary Wing NSN: 1730-01-564-8518 P/N: GBTD4 QUANTITY: 50 The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 - Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing, and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicable. All submissions must include full company name, Point(s) of Contact (POCs) to include name(s), position(s), represented office(s), and mobile phone number(s) and email address(es). The Tie Down Rotary Wing is NOT a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Currently the only known approved sources for this item is Airmick Inc (CAGE: 38SD5). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting SARs in accordance with Attachment 0001- SAR Preparation & Submittal Guidance for Restricted Source Aviation & Missile Command (AMCOM) Spare Parts Manufacturers and Distributors. Questions concerning SAR submissions shall be directed to the Engineering Directorate SAR Team at usarmy.redstone.ccdc-avmc.mbx.ame-sar@mail.mil or by calling the SAR Team at 256-313-8978, 256-313-6389, or 256-313-8975. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ). A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. This announcement does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition strategy. The Government reserves the right to consider acquisition strategies as deemed appropriate.
