Description

THIS SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSED ONLY AND IS NOT CONSIDERED A SOLICITATION. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of businesses that are capable of fulfilling the following work requirement: Medical Gases Annual Testing and Inspecting Statement of Work #1. General Contractor shall provide all tools equipment and travel to perform annual Testing and Inspecting of all Medical Gas and Medical air Systems. #2. Scope of Work 1. Contractor shall do a Comprehensive Annual Testing and Inspecting of the facilities medical Gas and Medical Air/ Vacuum systems and their components for the Main Building #1 2. All Medical Gas and Medical Air/ Vacuum Systems Shall be tested and inspected to meet all manufactures and NFPA requirements. 3. Technicians shall be certified to work on all existing Medical Gas and medical Air/ Vacuum Systems at this facility. Technicians shall possess an ASSE International professional certification or equivalent and must submit it as part of their bid package. 4. A Complete Detailed report of the Medical Gas/Air/Vacuum Systems Testing and inspections shall be provided. including but not limited to, all Findings, Observations, Deficiencies, recommendations. 5. The Completed Detailed report shall be submitted to the COR within 14 business days after the Testing and inspecting of the medical Gas systems have been completed. Place of Performance: 421 North Main Street, Leeds, MA 01053 Period of Performance: one base year plus four option years. The options may or may not be exercised. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. Responses to this sources sought/RFI are due by November 10, 2020 at 12:00 PM EST time. Responses to this notice shall be submitted via email to issa.shawki@va.gov. Telephone responses shall not be accepted. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must response to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this request for information. Responses to this notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 and a small size standard of $22 Million.
