The UDIM provides the functionality to interface to 1 DVI input, 1 LVDS input, 1 LVDS output and 4 analog video inputs. The UDIM video modes are controlled via a TIA/EIA-422-B (RS-422) communication. The DPT circuit card assembly is the interface to route the vehicle connections, power, and video to the PMD. When the Dock and PMD are connected via a tether (Tethered Mode), the only connections are the battery charging voltage and 1000base-T Gigabit Ethernet. When the Dock and PMD are connected via the J6 Dock connector (Docked Mode), additional functionality includes: a. Power for the display heater b. Full screen or Picture-in-Picture video from One DVI input, Four RS-170 Video inputs, or the PMDs Internal GPU. c. One CAN channel d. Ethernet connection routed to the PMD via the J6 Dock Connector instead of the Tether. e. One RS-422 channel f. Three USB peripheral ports to the PMD, each with an associated +5Vdc power source as well as one additional +5Vdc output for load-sharing a high-current peripheral. g. Ability to reroute PMD Touchscreen USB through the DSA to a remote computer. Please Note: -This notice is not an open solicitation i.e., Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). -Technical data is available for this item. - Please see Market Survey form for information requested by interested parties.
