- Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest Region (DSW), Phoenix, AZ Office has a requirement for providing multiple Phase Grounding Kits manufactured by Hubbell, P/N G1Y230BCC9F50 (20 Kits), G1Y217BCC9C90 (32 Kits), and �G1Y430BCC9F50 (13 Kits). �The kits shall be assembled by the manufacturer.� This is a Brand Name Requirement and the justification is posted with this notice. �This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The assigned NAICS is 333999 with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is being solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. The Request for Quotation will be available on or about November 4, 2020 at https://beta.sam.gov. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated and only new equipment will be accepted. Any questions shall be submitted in writing to Western Area Power Administration, Attn: Greg Cagle, Contract Specialist, 615 S. 43rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009-5313 or email to cagle@wapa.gov referencing the solicitation number in the subject line. No phone calls will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a quote, and will be considered by the agency. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
