Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Acquisitions Program Unit (NAPU) on behalf of the Hazardous Devices School, intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to Golden Engineering, Inc. P.O. Box 185, Centerville, IN, 47330. The proposed contract action is for the annual maintenance service and repair of forty (40) X-ray generators. The maintenance and repair of the items is only possible through the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Golden Engineering, Inc. as they are the only authorized repair facility in the US. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. The NAICS code is 811219 and the applicable business size standard is small. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Responses are due by Wednesday, November 4,�2020,9:00 aM, EST, via email only to: LRJackson@fbi.gov.�� If no responses are received,�NAPU will proceed with the sole source award.
