- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Getinge USA Sales, LLC, 45 Barbour Pond Dr, Wayne, NJ, 07470. The period of performance for contract award will be from December 1, 2020 through November 30, 2021 with provisions for four (4) option years. This requirement is to provide a service maintenance agreement for Getinge Sterilizers and Washers located at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, New York 13210. The Contractor is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and will provide preventative maintenance and repairs for fifteen (15) Getinge sterilizers and washers. The Government shall maintain the right to seek proof of qualification prior to award and anytime during contract period of performance. All work shall be performed by OEM certified technicians authorized by Getinge USA Sales, LLC to preform repairs and use only new OEM parts. Getinge USA Sales, LLC is the only known provider since the equipment is proprietary and maintenance therefore only can be provided by Getinge USA Sales, LLC. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Lynn.Krakowiak@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
