- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE (NCO) 16 Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System New Orleans, LA REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 36C25621Q0119 BACKGROUND: The Southeast Louisiana VHCS has a requirement for the following supplies: Fisher House Cisco Catalyst and install Veterans Guest Internet Access (VGIA) REQUIREMENTS: The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) is seeking installation services of the Veterans Guest Internet Access (VGIA) network in the recently constructed New Orleans Fisher House. This building will provide Veteran families lodging at no cost while their loved one is receiving treatment. The technology should integrate with the existing VGIA network throughout the remaining medical center buildings. SCOPE The vendor shall provide all labor, materials, hardware, and support necessary to install VGIA in the Fisher House. The network shall integrate using the same technology as what is currently installed in the other SLVHCS buildings. Users shall not need to reauthenticate or reconnect to VGIA when moving from the medical center to the Fisher House or vice versa. All materials and services provided shall be in accordance with the OEM specifications and guidelines. All materials and services provided shall be in accordance with National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and all work shall be performed in a good and workman-like manner. Provide minimum one (1) year warranty for all equipment and networking services under the scope of this contract. The VGIA infrastructure shall be compliant with IEEE 802.11 standards and offer access to a wide-range of patient and visitor owned devices. User devices include laptop computer systems with a variety of operating systems (i.e., Windows, Apple, Linux, etc.); as well as smart phones and tablet computers. The contractor shall perform system functionality testing to ensure the network provides access at all installed points and provides complete coverage of all desired areas. 3.
