- This synopsis revises the original synopsis posted on August 27, 2020.� The new synopsis revises the period of performance to a twelve-month (12) base period plus four (4) one-year option periods for a total contract period of five (5) years and the anticipated solicitation date to November 11, 2020. This synopsis serves as an announcement of the forthcoming acquisition: The U.S. General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Region 7 intends to solicit proposals for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Full Maintenance (FM) services in Houston, Beaumont, and Galveston, Texas. FM services include operations and maintenance, custodial, and grounds maintenance services. Offerors will be expected to provide management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies (shipping & handling) and shall be responsible for the efficient, effective, economical, and satisfactory operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair of equipment and systems, custodial, grounds maintenance, and all related services located within the property line of the following locations.�� FULL MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS: U.S. Customs House 701 San Jacinto Street Houston, TX 77002-3673 GSA Bldg. The total square footage of all facilities is approximately 1,787,499.61 RSF. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.14, this potential acquisition is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561210, Facilities Support Services and the small business size standard is $41.5 million. All firms or individuals responding must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov. The period of performance consists of a twelve-month (12) base period plus four (4) one-year option periods for a total contract period of five (5) years to begin on or about February 1, 2021. NOTE: The solicitation will include FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, which would allow the government to extend the period of performance and additional 6 months, if necessary. The solicitation will be available on or about November 11, 2020. The pre-proposal conference/site visit information and the deadline for questions will be noted in the solicitation. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will only be publicized through Contract Opportunities at www.betaSAM.gov. Contractors are solely responsible for monitoring the internet to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Paper copies of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will not be provided under any circumstances. The current contract is due to expire January 31, 2021.
