Description
INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, intends to enter into a sole source procurement for a (Bipap Machines) for the Washington DC VA Medical Center (688),50 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20422. In accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5), 38 U.S.C. 8127(b), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute), and under the authority of VAAR 819.7007, Sole Source Awards to a Service Disabled Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to against NAC/FSS contract 3610G19D0055, FSS 36F79719D0027. Company Name: First Nation Group, LLC Address: 4566 Highway 20 East, Suite 208, Niceville, FL 32578 Phone: 8503898448 The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is (339112) and the Business Size Standard is (1000) employees. It is the Government s belief that the Dream Stations are currently used by the facility. It meets the requirements in the statement of work. The Dream Stations are currently used by Veterans in their home. It meets the requirements in the statement of work. Since there is an existing National contract; competition has been conducted via IDIQ and delay would cost to the government in the form administrative cost and adverse impacts on patient care at the Washington DC VAMC. The estimated base value of this acquisition is approximately ($247K). The estimated award date is on or before 11/4/2020 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 1300 PM Eastern Time (10/30/2020). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
