Description

NOTICE OF INTENT�TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER� The�U.S.�Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC),�Region II�Office,�intends�to�award a noncompetitive�purchase�order to�Lanier Parking Solutions, 245 Peachtree Center Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.� The authority to enter into a contract on a sole-source basis with Lanier Parking Solutions is made under the authority 41 U.S.C. 253 � (1) and�Federal Acquisition Regulation�6.302-1 which provides for limiting competition in those situations�where the supplies or services are available from only one responsible source�and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.��� The�U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)�proposes to enter into a sole source�arrangement�with�Lanier Parking Solutions�for the�Peachtree Center Complex Garages (i.e.�Marquis I, Marquis II, International & Harris Towers�and Courtland Street).�Lanier Parking Solution is the current vendor and the only one who can provide�this service�to the NRC occupants of the Marquis I Tower building.� The period of performance for this contract is one year.���� The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is�812930 �Parking Lots & Garages�.� The Government intends to�solicit�and negotiate directly with�Lanier Parking Solutions.��The anticipated award date is�January 1, 2021.��This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals�or quotations.��Additionally, in order to perform work for the NRC, potential sources must be free of�conflict of interest (COI).�� For information on�the�NRC COI regulations, visit NRC Acquisition Regulation Subpart 2009.5 (http://www.nrc.gov/about-nrc/contracting/48cfr-ch20.html).��A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.��All interested�parties�must express their interest and capabilities in writing via email to�Felicia.Mathis@nrc.gov.��No faxed documents will be accepted.��No telephone calls.�
