Description

The U.S. Department of Education (the Department)/Institute of Education Sciences (IES) is conducting market research to support a requirement for Cloud Hosting, System Administration, and Website Support and Development for IES. The purpose of this request is to (1) Provide industry with an opportunity to review and provide feedback on the Statement of Work (SOW); (2) Identify capabilities of potential vendors; and (3) Identify the best procurement approach. The anticipated release date for the solicitation is 4th quarter of fiscal year 2020. NAICS Code(s): 518210 - Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services 541511 - Custom Computer Programming Services The Department reserves the right to change designated set-asides and NAICS codes. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposals, and the Department is not seeking proposals at this time. Instead, the purpose of this announcement is for the Department to collect market research. The Department is conducting market research via two methods both described in greater detail in the attachments. The purpose of the Request for Information is to gather feedback on the draft PWS so that it may be improved prior to release of the solicitation. The purpose of the Request for Capability Statements is to determine whether there is sufficient capability.
