Description: NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Center for Research and Exploration in Heliophysics (CREH) for basic and applied research will carry out research in the field of heliophysics in relation to NASA Strategic Goals and for the public purpose of transferring results of federally funded research to the public.��GSFC and external scientists will cooperatively carry out observational, experimental, and theoretical research in support of NASA�s strategic Heliophysics science objectives relating to: Heliophysics:� the Sun; the interplanetary medium; the magnetosphere; the ionosphere, thermosphere, and mesosphere; other planetary atmospheres and space plasma environments; local interstellar medium and the interactions and couplings among these physical regimes; The informational and computational science and engineering related to the unique needs of data systems and models required to interpret data from Heliophysics science missions; and The development of instrument technology and theoretical techniques required to meet these scientific challenges.
