Sole Source Justification NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Tobyhanna Army Depot intends to award a sole source award to L3HARRIS CORPORATION. �PN: 10497-1800-01 - CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBY There is no other source to competitively compete. L3HARRIS CORPORATION is the only company that can supply. This is a commercial part to L3Harris Corporation. No drawings are available at this time and Harris will not release the necessary drawings. HARRIS possesses all proprietary data regarding these parts. Systems have to match existing installed systems for interoperability &communications. Installation, logistics, testing, and training functions depend on these exact sole sourced CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY FOR -RESET OF HARRIS RADIOS. Other sourced similar circuit card assemblies won�t work in these systems. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability statement to respond to this requirement by October 27, 2020 at 4PM (EST). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
