- THE VAMC TOMAH REQUIRES ON THE RIGHT TRACK BRAND PRIVACY CURTAINS OR EQUIVALENT FOR EXAM ROOMS IN THE HOSPITAL. THE REQUIREMENTS ARE LISTED BELOW. IF YOU WISHED TO BE CONSIDER FOR THIS PROCUREMENT, PLEASE EMAIL YOUR QUOTE THAT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS TO: Romell.Parrott@VA.GOV BY OCTOBER 18, 2020 Statement of Work for Privacy Curtains General requirement Section: Surface Mounted Track: Extruded aluminum Powder Coated White Finish Dimensions: 1 1/2 inches (39 mm) high by 3/8 inch (10 mm) wide Provide straight and bent sections as indicated on drawings. Accessories: Provide the following components. Coordinate locations with those found on the Contract Drawings. a) OPG-005, Grabber® (curtain loading tool) b) OPTS-B03, Hard Ceiling Mounting Plate c) OPTS-E03, Hanger and Track Connector d) OPTS-F03M, Track Connector e) OPTS-G03N, Hanger f) OPTS-J03-1, 1 Extensible Tube g) OPTS-J03-2, 2 Extensible Tube h) OPTS-J03-6IN, 6 Extensible Tube i) OPTS-J03-4, 4' Extensible Tube j) OPTS-LZ, Loading Zone k) OPTS-M03, Combo End Cap l) OPTS-Q03, Soffit/Wall Mount m) OPTS-P03, Ceiling Vertical Mount Plate n) OPTS-S03, Thumb Screw with Fastener o) OPTS-X03, ACT Conduit Textile Cubicle Curtains: Manufacturer s inherently fire-retardant (IFR) curtain with panel, mesh and top designed for attachment to track without separate hooks. 1. Panel Size: 69 inches wide by 92 inches high including 19 inches of mesh, hemmed as required. 2. Curtain Loading Tool: Manufacturer s standard loading tool, The Grabber®. 3. Curtain Ring Installation of Cubicle Curtains and Tracks: Install in accordance with manufacturer s recommendations, including the following: 1. Verify that ceilings are suitable for installation prior to installation. 2. Mechanically attach tracks using manufacturer s recommended anchors and attachment devices. 3. Install accessories and curtains and test for proper operation. Replace damaged units. Pole extensions to drop the track up to 18"" so there is a unified curtain used throughout the clinic. Impact Technology that embeds its protection within the fibers of the fabric. A simple chemical reaction inhibits the growth of odor- and stain-causing bacteria, fungus, algae and mold on contact and continues controlling these organisms for the life of the product. Stain resistance makes these curtains easy to clean. Impact Technology is also splash and flame resistant. Facility notes: 1. The ceiling height in Room 167 is 104 . The track is adjustable and will need to be lowered in this room. Qty 2 69 wide x 92 high including mesh top. 2. The ceiling height in all other rooms is 96 .
