- On-Site Patriot Excalibur (PEX) Support. Provide on-site database support for the Patriot Excalibur (PEX) database located at each of the 5 geographically separated units within the USSF which includes 21st Space Wing (SW) at Peterson AFB, CO; 50 SW at Schriever AFB, CO; 460th SW, Det 2 and 11 SWS at Buckley AFB, CO; 21 Operation Support Squadron (OSS) Det 1 and 7 SWS Beale AFB, CA; and 614 Air Operations Center (AOC), 614 Combat Training Squadron, 30 SW, and 533 TRS at Vandenberg, AFB, CO.� Support shall include:� Ensure the current system is up to date on all software and hardware updates Manage PEX security permission levels, user list, and access levels. Establish user account training profiles, system defaults, modify access and execution permissions (as required), implement and refine security procedures and practices. Provide initial, continuity, and refresher training to local users on-site in the operations of PEX features and upgrades; � Train unit personnel to manipulate software, run reports and brief leadership on the status of user training tracked by PEX; � Train unit personnel on applicability of PEX information to assist in training, Stan/Eval, readiness, and inspection reporting � Provide advanced technical training and professional expertise in application of PEX specialized software and hardware systems. � Work closely with unit personnel on a daily basis to establish and maintain updated training requirements, ensuring suitable mission parameters to meet operational objectives and safety requirements based on technical military knowledge and experience. Create and delivery technical briefings and training relating to PEX equipment, software and data (including classified and unclassified source material) for unit personnel as required. Support meetings and generate reports as required by on-site Government managers. �Set up support equipment and conduct system demonstrations as required. Troubleshoot PEX software or hardware problems found by unit or squadron personnel to provide problem identification, resolution and tracking to include logging the problem, duplicating through testing and analyzing until a resolution is found. The contractor shall base problem analysis on PEX technical training provided by experts, professional experience, use of specialized software/system tools or documentation and working in conjunction with remote technical support team at the PEX System Support Facility. �Maintain control and cognizance over USAF and USSF unclassified and classified data. �Provide on-site presence for technical support and assistance; support permanent party training documentation as well as temporary units deployed to the SSR location. �Ensure deployed personnel have the maximum ability to effectively update and track training accomplishments utilizing equipment and data.
