- GENERAL INFORMATION � Document Type: Sources Sought Notice Solicitation Number: 15DDHQ20N00000007 Posted Date: 10/13/2020 Response Date: 10/23/2020 NAICS Code: 33299 (ALL OTHER MISCELLANEOUS FABRICATED METAL PRODUCT MANUFACTURING) Size Standard: 750 DESCRIPTION This is a Source Sought/Request for Information (RFI) notice. This is not a request for proposals and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is conducting market research, and is encouraging all businesses, including small businesses, to respond to this notice. The information requested herein will be used within the DEA to facilitate the decision making process in acquisition planning, and will not be disclosed outside the agency. The DEA will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Unsolicited proposals or offers of any kind will not be considered in response to this notice. All information received in response to this notice that is marked �Proprietary� will be handled accordingly.� Responses to the notice will not be returned.� At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements of any future solicitation regarding the requirement referenced herein will not be accepted nor addressed by the Government. The purpose of this notice is to gather information to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing chemical storage buildings in support of DEA�s Authorized Central Storage Program. The specifications of the chemical storage buildings required are listed in the attachment. The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for a chemical storage building in support of DEA�s Authorized Central Storage (ACS) Program. The ACS program offers a solution to the difficulty and cost of managing and disposing of hazardous waste found, seized, and removed from clandestine drug laboratories. Law enforcement officers characterize, segregate, package, and transport such hazardous waste from clandestine drug laboratory sites to various state-authorized collection stations, which are located throughout the individual states. The individual states require several collection stations for temporary storage of hazardous waste. The hazardous waste will be stored in the collection stations until such time as DEA's Contractors are dispatched to the collection stations to pick�up, remove, and properly dispose of the hazardous waste. REQUIREMENTS This RFI identifies the objectives for the Chemical Storage Buildings. The supplies that will be procured under the BPA shall be in accordance with the attached specifications. Call orders will be initiated on an as needed basis. The supplies that will be procured under the BPA shall be in accordance with the attached specifications. The Contractor shall furnish the supplies identified if and when requested by a Contracting Officer who is duly warranted by DEA to authorize the expenditure of funds. RESPONSES Interested vendors who believe they possess the necessary capabilities to meet the identified specifications herein should submit a technical description of their capabilities.
