***On the beta. SAM site, it has a response date of 12 Oct 2020 ;however,�it was posted as a notice for DoDEA's upcoming business opportunities and does not require a response at this time, nor is not being done to solicit a response from a contractor.� It is just for informational purposes.�� The site may have pre-populated the date as part of their platform but no responses are required at this time. *** SYNOPSIS This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ). This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This is strictly a synopsis to inform industry about an upcoming requirement. The Government will not accept any quotes or proposals based on this notice. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to issue an RFQ on or about 14 October 2020 for a Learning Management System with the following characteristics: DoDEA requires a secure contractor-hosted, scalable, cloud solution that can accommodate approximately 53,050 students and 13,000 employees. DoDEA requires an LMS with (1) an intuitive interface for the creation, delivery, and tracking of web-based curricular content and instructional/ assessment activities and (2) collaboration tools to both replicate and extend modalities found in a traditional PK-12 classroom environment. This Government anticipates awarding one single award IDIQ contract.�This acquisition will be solicited Full and Open using�the procedures set forth in FAR Part 13,�Simplified Acquisition and FAR Part 16, Types of Contracts.�All terms, conditions, evaluation procedures, and instructions to Vendors will be specified in the RFQ.
