Box 17300, Fort Worth, Texas� 76102 Property located at:���������Fort Polk, Louisiana Item 1:� This sale is located in Compartment 12 on Fort Polk. �The sale consists of 33 acres of pine pulpwood thinning in stand 7. �Operators will select harvest trees reducing the basal to 80 square feet per acre. �The stand has a volume of 926 tons of standing pulpwood. �The sale also has 89 acres of pine pulpwood/sawtimber thinning in stands 1211 and 1212 with a volume of 392 tons of standing pine pulpwood, 181 tons of topwood, and 204 MBF (Doyle Scale) of standing pine sawtimber. �The sale also consists of a 64-acre loblolly pine removal in stand 18 with a volume of 193 tons of standing pine pulpwood, 174 tons of topwood, and 193 MBF (Doyle Scale) of standing pine sawtimber. �The harvest area boundary for these stands are marked with purple paint. �All timber stands are marked with well-defined roadways or breaks. Item 2:� This sale is located in Compartments 28 and 60 on Fort Polk. �The sale consists of a 64-acre loblolly pine removal in Compartment 28 stand 19 (2819) with a volume of 398 tons of standing pine pulpwood, 186 tons of topwood, and 189 MBF (Doyle Scale) of standing pine sawtimber. �The sale also consists of 240 acres of pine pulpwood/sawtimber thinning in Compartment 60 stands 3 and 10 (6003, 6010). �Operators will select harvest trees reducing the basal area to 50 square feet per acre in stand 3 and 40 square feet per acre in stand 10. �These stands have a total volume of 1,730 tons of standing pulpwood, 584 tons of topwood and, 543 MBF (Doyle Scale) of standing pine sawtimber. �The harvest area boundary for these stands are marked with purple paint. �All timber stands are marked with well-defined roadways or breaks. Item 3:� This sale is located in Compartment 62, Cold Springs 1 training area, of Fort Polk. �The sale consists of 142 acres of loblolly pine first thinnings in stands 4 and 33. �Operators will remove every fifth row and thin between the rows reducing the stand basal area to 100 square feet per acre.� The first thinning stands contain a volume of 4,820 tons of standing pine pulpwood. �This sale also has 320 acres of second thinnings in stands 3 and 13. �Operators will select harvest trees reducing the basal area to 80 square feet per acre. �The second thinning stands contain a volume of 8,844 tons of standing pine pulpwood. �The sale also contains 443 acres of thinning pine pulpwood and pine sawtimber in stands 7, 15, 30, 31, and 35. �Operators will select harvest trees reducing the basal area to 60 square feet per acre. �These stands contain a volume of 7,959 tons of standing pine pulpwood, 664 tons of topwood, and 403 MBF (Doyle Scale) of standing pine sawtimber. �The harvest area boundary for these stands are marked with purple paint. Item 4:� This sale is located in Compartment 82, Kurthwood 2 training area, of Fort Polk. �The sale consists of 787 acres of loblolly pine first thinnings. �Operators will remove every fifth row and thin between the rows reducing the stand basal area to 100 square feet per acre. �This sale consists of a volume of 33,594 tons of standing pine pulpwood, 25 MBF (Doyle Scale) of standing pine sawtimber, and 85 tons of topwood. �The harvest area boundary corners for these stands are marked with purple paint. Item 5:� This sale is located in Compartment 84, Kurthwood 2 training area and Compartment 92, Kurthwood 3 training area, of Fort Polk. �The sale consists of 228 acres of loblolly pine first thinnings in stands 8401, 8406, 9212 and 9214. �Operators will remove every fifth row and thin between rows reducing the stand basal area to 100 square feet per acre. �The first thinnings contain a volume of 4,901 tons of standing pine pulpwood. �The sale also consists of 252 acres of second thinnings in stands 8408, 8409, 8414, 9202, and 9205. �Operators will thin between rows reducing the stand basal area to 80 square feet per acre. �The second thinnings contain a volume of 3,520 tons of standing pine pulpwood, 48 tons of standing pine sawtimber, and 19 tons of top wood. �The harvest boundary corners for these stands are marked with purple paint.
