Description
MARKET RESEARCH-- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research purposes ONLY. This information will be used to determine the availability of Small Business vendors capable of meeting the Government�s requirements. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of Small Business Contractors capable of providing Preventive Maintenance (PM) service/maintenance/repair for the following wheeled equipment: (2) ICX Frontier Tactical SkyWatch Towers (Trailer), (2) Message Board (Trailer) and (1) K9 Hauler S8 (Trailer). The equipment shall be inspected and preventative maintenance performed once every three (3) months (quarterly)at Mayport Naval Station, Mayport, FL. Interested vendors must have a minimum of five years documented experience and possess a Tactical SkyWatch Tower certification that authorizes the same to perform work on the Frontier Sky Watch Tower. See attached Draft Statement of Work for details. It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 and the size standard is $8.0 Million. The period of performance is anticipated to be for a base year and four option years beginning on 1 November 2020. Small Business vendors interested in responding to this Sources Sought Synopsis shall provide a maximum two page statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed all of the requirements in the attached DRAFT PWS. The capability statement shall include the company�s name, address, CAGE code, DUNS number, business size/socio-economic status, Government business point-of-contact name, phone number, and e-mail address. Any interested Small Business vendors must be registered in the System for Award Maintenance (SAM). The capability statement provided in response to this Sources Sought Notice is NOT to be considered a response to a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether this requirement should be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside, or whether Full and Open Competition procedures will be utilized. Respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis in writing by email to susan.p.griffith@navy.mil with the title Skywatch Tower Maintenance. No phone calls or faxes will be accepted. Responses shall be submitted no later than 1:00 P.M. EDT on 09 October 2020.
