Description

Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command has a requirement for #4 and #610 Limestone to be used for road repair.� The limestone shall be delivered to two (2) areas on or about the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.� The Government intends to award a contract consisting of a base and four (4) options on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis.� The pricing will be based upon a per Ton amount.� The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This acquisition will utilize a 100% small business set-aside.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 212312, Crushed and Broken Limestone Mining and Quarrying. The small business size standard is 750 employees. A complete Request for Quote package will be available for downloading at the beta.sam.gov website.� Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Information on SAM may be obtained at http://www.sam.gov. This synopsis shall not be construed as a RFQ or an obligation on the part of the Government.
