Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends establish a Basic Ordering Agreement (OA) for the 155mm MK 51 Advanced Gun System (AGS) with BAE Systems Land and Armaments L.P. (BAE), 4800 East River Road �(Minneapolis, MN) for the production without providing from full and open competition. This BOA allows for the placement of Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) two orders for an ordering period of sixty (60) months from date of award. BAE will furnish spare parts, repair, and overhaul parts, installation checkout kits, and provide engineering and technical services for the MK 51 AGS. BAE is the only existing source possessing the requisite knowledge and expertise of the MK 51 AGS to satisfy the Government�s production requirements within the required schedule. This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
