- Description
- Corpus Christi Army Depot Contracting Office Army Contracting Command-Redstone (CCAM-ALC) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Struers, Inc., of Westlake, Ohio 44145-2525 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available.� The requirement is for preventative maintenance (PM) on the Metal Processing Lab Equipment: Exotom-150, Tegramin-30, Tegramin-30, Accutom-5, and CitoPress-20 with associated component sub-assemblies.� The requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached Request for Quote (RFQ).� This announcement constitutes the only synopsis. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The RFQ number for this requirement is W912NW-21-Q-0002 and attached to this announcement.� Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Circulars Defense Acquisition are included in the attached RFQ.� The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 and has a size stand of $22M.� The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitation.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Questions may be submitted via e-mail to: noelia.p.lelaurin.civ@mail.mil.
