- DLA Distribution has a requirement for a Logistics Modernization Integration Support (LMIS) contract to be established in order to facilitate execution of DLA Distribution�s modernization initiatives.� The Acquisition Office identified two overarching modernization requirements: entire facility modernization/overhaul/retrofit later identified as (Pool 1) and individual Distribution center-targeted Automated Material Handling Equipment capability upgrades later identified as (Pool 2). This is an award for Pool 1, Enterprise Facility Modernization. An examples of a project that would fall under Pool 1, Enterprise Facility Modernization, is the EDC Equipment Modernization Effort.
